I’m in Munich now; here I can spend some quality time with my sister. She is already nervous because of the wedding and since I’m the Maid of Honor I need to amuse her a little bit *lol*!
Since she is still working though, it was time to see Madeleine today. She took the day off from work and came to Munich too. We meet at the central station here and just teared up and hugged each other for the first minutes. Than we went into the city, had American breakfast (scrambled eggs with bacon) and made an English guided sightseeing tour – and of course we met some people from MASS there. Two young kids, who start going to college there, didn’t have to say much but still funny guys. Later we had a late Lunch at a Mexican Restaurant – old memories. And as always the day went by way to fast – saying goodbye sucked. Even now since we both life in Europe, we’re still too fare a part :-(! But just a couple of weeks and I’ll see her in Dresden for my Birthday and I’ll do a return visit to Linz, Austria at the beginning of August!
Later tonight, I picked up my sister from work and together we went to an original Bavarian Biergarten (beer garden) and had some Obatzer (a typical Bavarian cream cheese made from Camembert and Wheat beer) with pretzel and same spaetzle.
